As many of you know, the March team recently returned from our first church plant trip to Tirana, Albania. Many exciting things happened and The Lord is working in mighty ways throughout the city of Tirana. On our first few days there we were given the opportunity to walk throughout the city and pray with people, getting to know them and blessing them as we went.
Throughout the following days we worked with the children both at Alex's church and Tom's church. We did face-painting, crafts and games with the kids and it was such a blessing to see the smiles on their faces!
Another form of evangelism we often took part in was playing music on the street corners. Many people gathered to listen and it gave opportunities for the team to share why we were here and how much Jesus loves them.
Although all of this was especially exciting to take part in, I believe, most, if not all of the team would agree the most exciting day was March 16th. The reason being, on March 16th 2014 the first official church meeting took place at the building our church has rented for one year. Tom Grimes will be overseeing this church.
On our last day we went to a castle in Krujë to learn the history of Albania and to pray over the nation.
Since returning we would all like to say thank you so much to all who prayed over this team and would you join us in praying for the team who will be returning in October of 2014.
